REFERENCE 

The Issuer - Cowboys Stampede Trail Ltd (CST)

The Venue/ Event - Cowboys Music Festival (CMF)

Ticket Holder or Holder - The individual possessing a valid form of admission into CMF 

Ticket(s) - The method of admission used by the Ticket Holder to access the Venue, including but not limited to digital tickets and codes (QR, barcode, etc), tickets or codes printed on paper, wristbands or vouchers.

Rules - Policies that all Ticket Holders agree to adhere to while attending Cowboys Music Festival; can be found under the ‘Zero-Tolerance Policy’ at:

The Holder of any Cowboys Music Festival Ticket hereby agrees to the following TERMS & CONDITIONS:

ADMISSION

*SUBJECT TO CAPACITY & REGULATIONS SET BY RELEVANT AUTHORITIES INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, AGLC, CALGARY FIRE DEPARTMENT, ETC.

Admission is subject to compliance with applicable laws, by-laws, regulations and facility rules communicated by the Issuer, Venue/ Event, the City of Calgary, the Province of Alberta and Canadian Federal regulations.


SAFETY & SECURITY

Safety & Security at CMF is our top priority. We work diligently to ensure the safety and well-being of the patrons attending the Event by implementing practices and policies that adhere to applicable laws and regulations and meet or exceed industry standards.

The Ticket Holder consents to a reasonable examination of his/her person and property to ensure compliance with the Rules. CMF reserves the right to inspect patron belongings and confiscate prohibited items without recompense. 

Security measures you may notice upon your arrival include, without limitation: bag checks, pat downs and ID scans for all attendees and staff. Please take note of our prohibited items list, as any of these items can be confiscated upon entry or result in entry refusal. 

In an emergency situation, information may be announced over an internal PA system. 

If you or a friend require medical assistance, please do not hesitate to alert any Staff Member. If you notice something that does not seem right, please flag down any Security Staff Member.

PROHIBITED ITEMS AND ACTIVITIES

This list is not all-encompassing and CMF reserves the right to make decisions regarding items that may not appear on this list but are deemed detrimental to the safety and security of the Festival and its attendees by our Security Staff.


Prohibited items at the Event and Venue include, without limitation:

-Weapons of any kind, including but not limited to: knives, staffs/bats, bows, guns, hammers, axes)

-Bicycles inside festival grounds

-Skateboards, rollerblades, scooters, carts, and personalized motorized vehicles excluding wheelchairs and other required mobility aids.

-Illegal substances or drug paraphernalia.

-Outside Alcohol. Alcohol purchased inside the venue must be consumed within CMF gates.

-Animals or pets of any kind, unless registered as a service animal (excluding emotional support, therapy, and companion animals). CMF does not assume responsibility for the well-being of a registered support animal, and the owner assumes all risk, responsibility, and liability for the animal and its actions while at CMF.

-Beach /golf umbrellas.

-Hard-sided coolers and suitcases.

-Glass bottles, containers, vessels, etc.

-Unauthorized vending, soliciting, or sampling of any sort.

-Professional video/photography equipment, including audio recording devices.

-Colours, symbols, or other gang-related paraphernalia.

-Fireworks.

-Sports equipment including, without limitation: beach balls, volleyballs, soccer balls, footballs, baseballs, etc.

-Squirt guns or water toys.

-Megaphones, air horns, vuvuzelas, etc.

-Chairs, Tents.

-Open flames (includes tea lights, fireworks, flares, fire toys, etc.). Cigarette lighters are permissible.

-Noxious substances including, without limitation: fuel, cleaning products, etc.

The Holder agrees to comply with the Issuer’s policies and will not, under any circumstance, make any commercial or other unauthorized use of the Issuer or Event name, branding, or logo.




TICKETING

The Ticket Holder confirms they are over 18 years of age and that all Tickets are non-refundable inclusive of any fees, taxes, or gratuities collected at the time of purchase.

A Ticket is invalid if any barcodes, QR codes, RFID card/wristband, etc. are duplicated, removed, or tampered with. Neither the Event nor the Issuer are responsible for invalidated tickets due to violation of house policies, damage, or unauthorized distribution. 

No Scan - No Entry. If your Ticket does not scan at the Venue’s admission gates, the Ticker is not valid and you will not be provided entry. 

The Ticket Holder is aware, agrees and understands that filming and photography of the event may be captured for use in future promotional materials. The Holder consents to the use by the producer of the Event, without compensation, of the Holder’s image and/ or likeness incidental to any transmission, reproduction, or promotion of the Event. 

A Ticket may not be used in any manner in connection with any promotion of merchandise or services of any kind or for any other commercial purposes (including contests and sweepstakes) whatsoever without prior approval from the Issuer. 

The Holder acknowledges and affirms that there are no re-entry privileges. Once a Ticket has been “checked in” and/ or “in the venue” as confirmed by CMF’s ticketing system, the Holder will not be readmitted with that same Ticket should they leave the Venue.




REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

No refunds or exchanges.

Lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged Tickets will not be refunded or honoured in any way. The Issuer reserves the right to deny, limit replacements and charge a fee for this service.

Only original purchasers can edit, access, amend, or delete account information related to the purchase of the ticket, including, but not limited to, RFID cards, wristbands, tickets, and any other method of accreditation related to purchases.

A ticket is a revocable license; it may be withdrawn, admission refused, or the Holder expelled from the premises at any time for any reason without refund to or recourse by the Holder. House policies can be found at: https://www.cowboysmusicfestival.com/zero-tolerance-policy

Resale or attempted resale is strictly prohibited without prior authorization from the Issuer.



ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK

The Holder of this Ticket voluntarily acknowledges and assumes all risks related in any way to the Event (including, without limitation, risks of personal injury, property loss and/or damage) arising or resulting from any cause whatsoever (including, without limitation, by performers, spectators, objects and other inherent risks incidental to the event and negligence) and whether occurring before, during, or after the Event.

The Holder agrees that the Issuer, the Venue/ Event, and each of their affiliates, parents, related entities, owners, governors, officers, directors, partners, partnerships, sponsors, principals, employees, volunteers, and agents are expressly released and forever discharged by the Holder from any and all claims arising from and related to such risks or otherwise occurring at or in connection with the Event. 



COVID-19

Health & Safety Policies and FAQ's are regularly updated in consideration for our patrons, artists and event workers based on ever-developing circumstances. Plans and mandates may change. CMF will abide by all Provincial mandates regarding COVID-19, and we will continue to update our policies and FAQ’s with developments and more details as they become available.

The Event shall be presented in accordance with the applicable public health conditions on the day of the Event, which may change at any time determined by the Federal and Provincial governments, instrumentalities, artists, or promoters; such requirements can include: changes to capacity, entry requirements such as proof of vaccination and/or negative Covid-19 testing and masking. Holders who choose not to comply with laws, mandates, health orders, promoter or event terms, conditions, and rules may be subject to admission refusal without recourse by the Holder.

Covid-19 is extremely contagious and can lead to severe illness and death. With any public event, there is an elevated risk of exposure to Covid-19. There is no guarantee that individuals choosing to attend CMF will not be exposed to Covid-19.

Health Canada states that older adults and people of all ages with underlying medical conditions are at higher risk for developing severe illness with Covid-19. All attendees should evaluate their risk for COVID-19 severity before attending CMF. By entering the Venue, attendees voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and confirm that they will adhere to and abide by any mandates enforced.


FUTURE CHANGES TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS

CMF and/ or Cowboys Stampede Trail Ltd. reserve the right to make changes to these Terms & Conditions, the Rules or any house policies. CMF and/ or Cowboys Stampede Trail Ltd have the right to modify, add, remove, supplement, amend, update or revise any of these Terms & Conditions without advanced notification to the Holder by posting such revisions on the website, www.cowboysmusicfestival.com, in which all revisions will become effective immediately retroactively to the date of purchase.
