General FAQ’s

  • CMF 2025 will take place at our new home, Cowboys Park (formerly Shaw Millennium Park), located at 1220 9th Ave SW in the Downtown West community of Calgary, Alberta.

  • In addition to a new location, CMF 2025 will have a refreshed site lay-out that maximizes our legendary activations and patron experience. We can't wait to welcome you!


  • CMF/ Cowboys Park does not have a dedicated parking lot, but there are several nearby in the Downtown West area. It's possible some of those parking lots will be used for other Stampede activities. This information should be available closer to Stampede via the City of Calgary or Calgary Parking. 

  • All road closures are determined and facilitated by the City of Calgary.

  • Set times vary by date and are subject to many factors, often not confirmed until the day of the concert. Entertainment start time and lineups will be posted to our social media pages daily.


  • No lockers/ other storage methods for personal belongings will be available. All items you bring to CMF are your responsibility and must remain on your person at all times. CMF is not liable for any items lost on our site.

  • Porta-Potties, Food Trucks, and Phone charging stations (cable required) will all be available at CMF 2025. More details coming soon!

  • CMF will have a dedicated smoking area during CMF 2025. Smoking & vaping is only permitted in this area.

  • Public safety is a priority for CMF. In addition to our highly trained security team, we’ll have the support of hired City of Calgary Police officers on site to support our team in ensuring safety protocols are followed within our gates. The CMF Event Site will have a minimum of 70 dedicated CMF Security Staff, recognizable in red shirts with hi-visibility vests, and will be connected with radios, headsets, and flashlights. All CMF Event Security staff will have valid Pro-Tect certification obtained through AGLC. Additional security provided by Pay Duty CPS officers and Impact Security, Medical & Logistics will be on-site during all peak operating hours.


    CMF’s BlockWatch team will be active again this year. This group creates a consistent presence in the community and acts as a deterrent to potential issues, working with CMF management and relevant partners to address concerns in the community during our Festival. The BlockWatch Team are not there to police the area. If you see or hear something concerning please call 911.

  • At Cowboys Music Festival we are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for all of our attendees in a manner that respects their dignity, independence, integration and that is equitable. We believe that music and stampede should be enjoyed by everyone, and we are dedicated to making our festival experience enjoyable for all. CMF permits those with disabilities to use assistive devices, service animals, and/or support personnel. We also offer: - Accessible washrooms, amenities, and bars at all of our venues, including accessible viewing and seating.- Accessibility admission ticket types available for purchase for all concerts; events at CMF.- Patrons with disabilities are welcome to bring certified and trained service animals if proper documentation is provided.   • Only 3 and 4 wheeled scooters and wheelchairs are permitted. Golf carts and 2 wheel scooters are not allowed on the event grounds. Only those with accessible needs and mobility limitations are permitted to operate a mobility device. No scooters or wheelchairs (manual or motorized) will be available to rent onsite. Motorized vehicles must be operated in a safe and courteous manner and cannot move faster than walking speed of the pedestrians around. Any devices found to be operating improperly will be impounded by security for the duration of the event. Insurance and valid documentation are required in advance and upon request of presentation onsite.

  • -Small purse/ fanny pack, clear bag (dimensions will be provided closer to CMF and this page will be updated to include that information)

    -Medication needed with proof of prescription/ownership. We recommend only bringing the necessary dosages for that day. 

    -Cashless payment methods

    -Phone charging cable (so you can use our on-site charging stations!)

    -Identification that meets our ID Requirements

  • -Large bags/backpacks

    -Any containers with liquids/water bottles 

    -Coolers or cooler bags 

    -Outside food, alcohol, or beverages 

    -Weapons of any kind (or anything that could be considered to be a weapon)

    -Narcotics/controlled substances 

    -Laser pointers 

    -Umbrellas

    -Selfie sticks

    -Stickers, handbills, or other unauthorized solicitations 

    -Any other items that are deemed inappropriate by Festival Security upon entry

  • CMF has partnered with a local and highly reputable Paramedical service to oversee First Aid and Emergency Medical Support services during CMF 2025. These services and supports will be available on site during all hours of operation. If you need to access First Aid or medical support, notify any member of Team Cowboys and they'll call for help.

  • Service animals are allowed as long as they have proper certification - we do not allow emotional support animals, therapy animals, or companion animals. All service animals must be housebroken and remain at the handler's side.

  • CMF is STRICTLY an 18+ venue per AGLC (Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission) regulations. Everyone will be asked to present ID prior to entering CMF, we recommend checking out our ID requirements. No minors are allowed on site at any time, even if attending with someone that is of age.

  • CMF strictly abides by AGLC (Alberta Gaming and Liquor Commission) regulations and cannot make any exceptions under any circumstances. You will need a primary and secondary piece of ID that meet the following requirements:


    Acceptable forms of Primary ID include:

    Valid driver's license, Alberta operator's license, Armed Forces Identification card, out-of-province photo driver's license, certificate of Indian status (Band cards will not be accepted), Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Residency card.

    Acceptable forms of Secondary ID include

    Birth certificate, health care card, NEXUS Card, Firearms license, government visas, etc. Credit Cards are NOT acceptable forms of Secondary ID. Secondary ID must include: a name, be government-issued, have a unique identifier number, and include date of birth.
